Your Powerful Voice

Nothing is stronger than the public’s voice in saving millions of lives and restoring America’s communities. Please add your voice by taking as many of these steps as possible.

First, Watch the half-hour Prohibition Blunder video.
We think you'll agree that Drug Prohibition must end as soon as possible—especially after watching our video. Watch and share with your friends, family, and community!

Second, Subscribe to our email list. We publish frequent news alerts, blog posts, articles, and video content via email and social media, so be sure to visit and share our contact page to register and stay in the loop.

Third, Join some groups. See our Heroic Voices page and choose some groups to join, help, and advocate with. It will be united action that undoes this immoral policy.

"The War on Drugs is a monstrous social machine that is grinding poor black communities to dust."

—Dr. Glenn Loury

Economist

Fourth, Sign the Petition. Add your support for a movement to (a) end the immoral failed policy of Drug Prohibition and (b) replace it with strict regulation through legalization.

Fifth, Join in the conversation. Consider writing your elected officials, send us your unique ideas on the topic of ending Drug Prohibition, and share our blog posts and videos on your social media pages.

Not only has the War on Drugs failed in every drug control goal one could hope for, but it always will. Because, regardless of any good intentions, it necessarily supports drug cartels and gangs instead of the public good.

And today, it stands in the way of the answer—and bright future—advocated by knowledgeable, concerned economists: effective regulation in a legal market with legal partners.

Come join this life-and-death cause! Nothing may be more potent than your voice. As we say on our Don’t Donate page, we think your voice means more than donations or anything else we could ask for.

I firmly support (a) the repeal of Drug Prohibition and (b) its replacement with a system of strict drug regulation through legalization.
